Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle: The administrative capital of the area is a medieval city. The city has been declared Pa national monument and a UNESCO world heritage and is universally known for its pilgrimages of Christendom to the tomb of the Apostle Jacques. Every year year, 70000 pilgrims come to make the pilgrimage. You will be able to discover there an architectural inheritance of great value .
How to get there? If you arrive by bus, you are 1Km away from the center of the city. The train station is more centric: 10 minutes walking from the center. The airportis 13km in the East of the city on the road for Lugo.

cathedral: The cathedral of Saint Jacques de Compostelle was declared an inheritance monument by the UNESCO in 1985. Last year, the frontage of the cathedral received the Price of the Asturian princes for the peace. Its construction started under the reign of Alfonso II in the IXth century. The total surface of the cathedral is of 23000 mq .
El Convento de San Paio de Antealtares: Founded in the IXth century to shelter the relics of saint Jack which are from now in the cathedral, it is one of the oldest monasteries of the city .
Le Monastery of Saint-Martin Pinario is an old Benedictine monastery, the largest of Galicia .
Le monastery of San Pelayo built under Alphonse II the Pure one was founded but the current building, is from the XVIIth and XVIIIth century. The small museum de Arte Sacro also deserves a visit .

La Coruna :A city whose history is closely related to its old fishing and commercial harbor. The peninsula on which the old city was built shelters the tower of Hercules who is one of the symbols of the city. The Finisterrae aquarium, Domus and the museum of Sciences show the character more modern and distracting of this capital. All this is supplemented by a delicious gastronomy known in all the country thanks to the quality of its products of the sea and its meat.
How to get there? The bus and the train station are close from each other, besides Plaza of Madrid, which is 20 minutes walking from the center of the city.
Sightseeing: Colegiata de Santa María del Campo:Collegial of Romanic style, built in the XIIth century. Torre de Hercules is currently one of the oldest functioning lighthouse in the world. He was built in the IInd century and is of a Neoclassical style .

Lugo :located on the hill at the edge of Miño, the town of Lugo has some interesting historical monuments of its Roman past, like its thousand-year-old roman walls, declared a national monument by UNESCO. Lugo is quiet calm, nices squares and gardens. It is interesting to see the cathedral, the palate and the town hall for the architecture. Moreover, the old city shelters some of the best restaurants of Galicia, where one can taste the delicious fish and meat dishes which make the reputation of the gastronomy of Lugo.

Murallas de Lugo: The Roman wall of Lugo is from the IIIrd century and of neo-classic style. It was built with the aim of defending the city from the attacks. It measures 2120 meters. Ourense extends on the banks of the Miño and preserves in its old city some exeptionnal buildings and namely its cathedral. The old city has an immense historical inheritance. Orense is located on the road of Plata, an old road which was borrowed by the pilgrims going to Saint Jacques de Compostelle .
