How to get there?
by car: Madrid, capital of Spain has principal roads of communication between the capital to the remainder of Spain and of Europe.It is thus easy to reach it by car, thanks to its road axes which are motorways or free expressways which connect the capital to the remainder of the country.
By plane: The airport of Madrid, Barajas, accommodates 40 million passengers per year, a number that grows each year of 15%. Many are the companies, which offer flights for Madrid.
By train: The National Network of the Spanish Railroads (R.E.N.F.E) is the company which exploits all the rail network, daily managing in Madrid with 1.700 trains. The two big stations of the capital are Puerta de Atocha and Chamartín from which leave and arrive the international train coming from Lisbon, Paris, and of course the trains coming from the remainder of Spain.
by bus: Madrid has many road stations, whose the principal is the station of "Estación Sur" located at Méndez Álvaro. You have a large choice of destinations and the prices are very attractive.
Transports in Madrid:
By bus, or metro:As in the majority of the large capitals it is easier to use public transport, like the bus whose network is very dense, very practical. But the subway remains the privileged mean of transport, simplest and rapid to circulate in the capital. This one is open up to 1.30am. If not, you always have the possibility of traveling by the buses of night (“Buhos”) from the place of Cibeles with all the corners of the city when there are no more subways.
